No matter your age or experience, Lisa Hansen can help you achieve an incredible sense of pride and accomplishment - and sometimes even awe - as you learn just how rewarding music can be.  She believes in success more than perfection.

Students are given instruction and form a solid base in piano playing, music theory, and music history. They learn to play a variety of music from many different styles.  Add to that games, practice incentives, and fun performance opportunities for a great musical journey in learning to play piano.

This is a unique studio. It has 4  full- sized digital keyboards. The pianos are equipped with headphones so the students can work independently.  These pianos are very portable and can be taken easily to various locations.  This gives the students limitless performing opportunities.  The  students have been to local banks, grocery stores, assisted living and nursing homes.  The public loves the music and the students get great positive reinforcement.

The digital pianos offer a wide range of valuable instruction.  The students can listen to many different world wide instruments, some of which they have never seen before.  These beautiful sounds can help the student recognize color variation.  They learn to  imitate the original sound and produce better playing.  The many rhythms provide a helpful tool in feeling beats and pulses. This offers lots of fun when doing scales and technique!  Lisa believes in the value of our past, and the importance of the future.  Nothing replaces a grand piano but nothing increases the interest of the student more than a digital piano.

The studio also houses a computer lab.   Students play computer games online at home or do assignments on the computer during lessons.  Composition software is used to allow the students to print professional looking pieces.
